Snow Day Fun Day

Snow came to us.  I'm so glad for a snow day. Its CHRISTMAS BREAK which is one of the best holidays considering no school. Hank and I made a little snowman about the size of Zoe.

Visiting My Uncle and Grandfather

My family are on vacation at Myrtle Beach. We went to see my grandfather and my uncle. We got to ride on my uncle's motercycle. It was awesome. I hope that I can do it again!

Sushi Chef

Some day, I might be a sushi chef ... My aunt is teaching me all about making sushi and she showed me how to make rice shaped with something that looks a little bit like a cookie cutter.  You use it to make shapes with the rice - like hearts or flowers.

A Day at Radnor

My brothers, mom and I went hiking at Radnor Lake today.  It was fun but too long!  I took a couple of pictures.  One was of a deer that was just starting to grow horns.  The other was of my mom and Jackson resting on a big, cool looking rock.

Southern Style Lemonade Tea

My mom taught me how to make lemonade tea ... it tastes awesome.  

First, you heat a cup of sugar and a little bit of water.  This makes the sugar dissolve good into the water.  

Then, you put six tea bags in the water.  We use an orange flavored tea.  After a few minutes, you take out the tea bags and put the sweet tea/water in a pitcher.  

Next, you add ice and more cold water.  Then, we put in the juice of several lemons that we get from our juicer.  And, we add a teaspoon of almond extract.  

It's really good.  We add ice to our nice glasses and pour the tea over it.  Yum!!

A Game of Putt Putt Golf

Hank and Jackson are putting on Hole 1. Hank and Jackson scored 3 on Hole 1. Jackson got +14 and Hank got +12 by the end.  I got -7 ... which is better than them.  :)

We played 2 games.  On the last hole, if we got a hole-in-one, then we would have gotten a free popcorn.  We went last Tuesday to putt putt and Richard got the free popcorn ... but today, nobody got it.

Gone Fishin'

Today, was awesome.  I caught a bunch of fish.  Once, we put the fish on the grass and were talking.  I forgot to throw it back in - so it wiggled over to the water and jumped back in by itself.

Mom took me shopping to the mall today, too.  I bought a new bathing suit and some clothes.  We had fun but I wish I had a bunch more money to spend.  I wanted some video games, an IPOD nano and a new bear at Build A Bear but all I got were the clothes.

After the Win

Here's my team after the win.  We got nice trophies.  I'm in the middle row on the end and my dad is behind me.

Rangers Rally in Extra Innings

Today, we won the championship of our league in an overtime game.  We were losing at the end of the fifth inning 10-7.  But, we rallied ... We held them to no runs in the next inning and then we scored 3 runs to tie the score.  

In extra innings, we didn't let them score any runs, either.  Our head coach's son was on third and the batter hit a triple so he ran in easily and we won the game.  Woo Hoo!!!!

The Fort

Hank says it is a hide out but I say it is a fort.  Since it's my blog, then it is a fort.  

Chow Time!

My mom, Zoe & I got to go to dinner by ourselves when daddy took Jackson & Hank to Hank's baseball practice.  On the way to eat, we tried to decide where we wanted to eat the most.  The choices were between Jonathan's and Mexicali Grill.  We decided to go Mexican food because I was craving some fajitas!  A huge plate of meat and veggies with a double order of tortillas!  The best ... and all mine!  No sharing!

Going to Districts

My brother won 5th place in the Scout pinewood derby for his pack tonight and third place in his den.  He's going to the district races now!  yeahhhh!  Way to go, Hank!!

We had a sleepover for Jackson, Hank and me in my room tonight to celebrate.  We ate popcorn and watched Ratatouille.  We are going to have a fun weekend and we don't have to go to school on Monday!

The Nut Cracker Show

This is Hank, Jackson, and Zoe doing a nut cracker show. They would always make all of the nut crackers die. They will miss playing with them once my mom puts them up with all the other Christmas stuff.

I Can't Open These Pistashio Nuts!

Last night Zoe could not open a pistashio nuts. But Zoe always comes with a great ideas. She brings a corkscrew to try to open the pastashio nuts.
